As an Estate Agent that's worked for five different agencies over the years, I've experienced a variety of Estate Agency culture.  Some good, some not so good.   It's a competitive industry.  There's no shortage of Estate Agents but there is a limited supply of property.  The final price clients achieve and the amount of time their house will take to sell is often overlooked.  Estate Agents need listings.  In my experience, they'll take you as you are, at a price that delights you (and is probably unrealistic), they'll promise you all the buyers, and the best level of service you've ever experienced.    In some cases, this is exactly what you'll get.

But certainly in my area, it doesn't often seem to be the case.  My research shows .... 4 weeks down the line - you'll probably still be on the market and you may have been persuaded to reduce your price, at least once, by an average of £20,000 (which is probably the price they should have valued your property at in the first place).   
Let's face it, you loosing £20,000 only means around £250 less for your agent.
When they're charging you thousands, that's a drop in the ocean.

So, I haven't always been an Estate Agent.  I have a diploma in Interior Design and a good few years of experience in Event Management - I think there's a better, more respectful way to sell houses.  Hence the arrival of
Nest & Feathers.  Let's be more considered.   Let's first understand your situation as a seller, and then let's really look at the market.  What current comparable properties are buyers also considering in your price bracket.  What are you up against and how can we help your house compete?  Together we can work out a plan to position your property competitively.  We can do some tweaks, perhaps some decluttering, re-organising, refreshing - but that's fine, we have all the contacts we need to get this done.  This process may take some preparation time, but believe me - it's so worth it, and it could save you thousands.  

Whilst Nest & Feathers provide Property Presentation Services,  I am also an independent Estate Agent with EXP.  I would be delighted to sell your house too if you want me to.  You don't have to.  Nest & Feathers can just help you get prepped and you can go on to sell through another agent.   It's totally up to you.
